Writ is operated by Writ AI Limited (company number 17467334). It uses only strictly necessary cookies and browser storage — the small amount needed to keep you signed in and to run the product. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not embed third-party analytics or social-media trackers that follow you across other sites. Because everything we store is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for, no consent banner is required, but here is exactly what we store and why.
How we count visits. Writ counts visits itself, without cookies and without storing anything on your device: for each page we note the page, the website that sent you, your device type and your country. To count each visitor once a day, we combine your IP address and browser with a random code that is deleted every day, and keep only the result, which cannot be traced back to you. Your IP address is never stored. You can switch counting off below, and we never count browsers that send Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.

You can clear or block this storage in your browser settings, but the product will not work properly without the authentication storage — you would not be able to stay signed in. If we ever introduce analytics that store anything on your device, we will ask for your consent first and list it here.
